The main objective of the B. Braun Medical Trust Foundation will be to provide scholarships to post graduate students in the field of medical sciences thereby recognizing the merit & talent of upcoming medical professionals in the country and encouraging excellence in medical education to attain their fullest potential.

Under this program, 50 (fifty) postgraduate students are annually awarded a postgraduate scholarship in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and potential for success in postgraduate medical study. It is intended that an individual named a B. Braun Medical Trust Foundation Scholar will be recognized as one who has achieved national distinction for his or her achievements, and promises to be a future leader in his or her chosen field of medical service.

The B. Braun Medical Trust Foundation is a non-profit organization, which operates without government financial assistance.
